Gemotions

The essay grade was a disaster. The red ink slashing through the margins of his work felt like a personal attack. He was on his way back to his dorm when he saw a homeless man huddled on a bench. The cold wind was blowing. Without thinking, he took off his jacket and offered it to the man, his heart aching. He then sat down and had a long, heartfelt conversation with him, listening to his story of hardship and showing him support and understanding. He decided to find a shelter where he could take the man.
