Gemotions

“Ugh,” Martin muttered, flopping onto the floorboards of the attic. He had, technically, started the attic exploration. He had, however, sat down to take a break approximately ten minutes after ascending the stairs.

The heat was oppressive. He fanned himself with a discarded newspaper. He thought about the cold beer in the fridge. That was certainly more appealing than what he was currently doing.

His gaze fell upon a dusty gramophone. He idly gave the crank a turn. A scratchy melody filled the air.
