"Fifteen years…" the invitation whispered, almost tauntingly. David scowled at the perfectly printed text. He was already wearing sweatpants; the thought of changing felt absurd. He was comfortable. That was the most important thing.

He was currently sprawled on the floor, surrounded by comic books. The idea of leaving the sanctuary of his living room, the comforting chaos of his hobbies, was appalling. He had a perfectly good reason to avoid the reunion; a new comic book was just released.

He reached for the remote, finding a new show to watch.
