Gemotions

The garden was a mess. The dog had clearly been enjoying itself. A trail of chewed-up sticks and scattered leaves told the story. He peered through the window, sighing. The dog, tail wagging, looked innocent.

He was in his favorite armchair, the remote resting on his stomach. Getting up seemed like an awful lot of work. He considered letting it be. He considered waiting.

He thought, "I can always deal with it later." He remained seated, choosing the comfort of the moment. The dog continued its rampage.
