He slumped further in his chair, the ergonomic design failing to alleviate the general malaise. A sudden ding interrupted his internal struggle. A notification on his phone, a picture. It showed a framed photograph, a class picture from five years ago. A message: "Miss Davies, remember that science project? Couldn't have done it without you. - Liam."
