His mom was in the kitchen, humming a tune as she stirred a pot. She turned and gasped, her face transforming with joy. "Oh, darling! You're here!" she cried, pulling him into a hug.

After unpacking, he found himself in the living room, surrounded by familiar objects. He picked up his old guitar and began to play, the familiar chords easing a tension he hadn’t realized he was carrying. He felt grounded.
