"You’re the libero now, Ben," the coach said. Ben, the team’s hitter, felt a warmth spread through his entire being. He felt as if he could fly. He simply nodded, his eyes sparkling.

Playing libero, he found a new purpose. He wasn't focused on the glory of the attack. Instead, he found joy in diving, digging, and protecting his team. His every move was dedicated to shielding his teammates from the opposition.

Every successful dig, every saved point, felt like a victory for the whole team. When the final whistle blew and they won, he knew this was the best he'd ever felt.
