The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air as James prepared to visit Mr. Henderson's lab. He had been planning to share the results of his experiment. The prospect of hearing Mr. Henderson’s analysis filled him with a quiet satisfaction. He wanted to soak up the man’s knowledge and wisdom.

He arrived at the lab, only to find the door locked. A handwritten sign read: "Farewell. Thank you. - R. Henderson." James let out a breath and then spent the next hour meticulously cleaning the lab, organizing equipment, and polishing surfaces. His face was a picture of determined focus. He finally took the coffee to the old man's favorite breakfast restaurant.
