Gemotions

He watched the sun set, painting the sky in fiery hues, and felt a strange contentment blooming within him. The wedding of Sarah and Mark was a picturesque affair, nestled on a vineyard. A gentle breeze whispered through the vines, carrying the scent of grapes and blooming honeysuckle. He had chosen a particularly good table, with a clear view of the dance floor.

Suddenly, a familiar laugh reached his ears. Turning, he saw her, bathed in the golden light. Her hair was pulled back, revealing the curve of her neck, and her dress shimmered as she laughed with a friend. His fingers tingled. He felt a ridiculous urge to reach out and touch her, to tell her how radiant she looked.

He waited, letting the feelings simmer. He thought of all the reasons why they were here, at the same place, at the same time. After the speeches, he found himself drifting towards her side. "That dress is stunning," he said, and for a fleeting moment, she seemed to look at him as though he hung the sun, the moon, and all the stars.
