The last time he'd seen Brandon, it had been a blur of fists and shouting. Now, here he was, seeking help from the same man, now a therapist. Michael hesitated outside Brandon's office, the dread turning to a strange, fluttery sensation.

Brandon opened the door, a smile on his face, the crinkles around his eyes deepening. His office was a sanctuary – filled with soft lighting and the scent of sandalwood.

"Michael, come in," Brandon said warmly. He listened, patiently, as Michael recounted a recent conflict, the solution he'd come up with, and how it had strengthened his team. He felt… grateful.
