Gemotions

From my vantage point, the anticipation was a tangible thing. As I crossed the street, the sun kissed my face, and I couldn't help but smile. The meeting with Sarah was something I'd looked forward to since the project began.

There she was, already at the cafe, her hands clasped on the table. When she saw me, her face lit up, and her eyes sparkled. I felt a surge of… something… in my chest.

“David!” she said, her voice soft. "This is unreal." She reached out and gently touched my hand.

I sat down, the air suddenly feeling charged with electricity. Her touch sent warmth rushing to my face. This was going to be an afternoon of incredible delight.
