Gemotions

The aroma of freshly baked bread wafted through the bakery, adding to the feeling of warmth inside. The day was perfect, the sky a brilliant blue, a gentle breeze stirring the leaves outside. Today was the meeting with Ben, and a sense of sweet contentment bubbled up inside of her.

He was already waiting, seated at a small table near the window. His eyes, the color of the sea, widened when he saw her.

“Ava! You won’t believe the news!” he said, his voice ringing with pure surprise and joy.

She walked towards him, her heart skipping a beat. The world seemed to fade away, leaving only him and this moment. The thought of sharing their respective work with him filled her with a feeling that was hard to define. "I can't wait."
