The scent of honeysuckle hung heavy in the air. David sat on his porch, watching the bees flit around his lavender bushes. He felt a deep sense of peacefulness. Then, Mr. Thompson, his neighbor, arrived with a serious expression and wanted to discuss the ancient oak tree.

Mr. Thompson expressed concerns about the tree’s size and potential hazards. David listened carefully, his eyes traveling up to the towering branches.

“Well now,” David said, his voice quiet, almost a whisper, "Let’s take a walk around the tree and talk it over. We can figure this out." His chest felt open, willing him to help.
