The small town library was a haven of quiet. Sunlight streamed through the tall windows, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. David sat at a table, surrounded by stacks of books. He felt a gentle tap on his shoulder. He looked up to see a woman standing there, a question in her eyes.

"Excuse me," she said softly. "Do you know where I might find a book on… rare medical conditions?"

David nodded. "I know precisely where they are." He showed her where they were, explaining some of the specific books to her. They had similar reading tastes, and shared an interest in the same topics. He felt a comfortable warmth as they spoke, a shared understanding.
