Gemotions

He was feeling restless, and decided to take a walk. When he returned, he found her in the living room, sketching in her notebook. He was overwhelmed with a feeling of tenderness. He watched her for a moment, admiring the way her hand moved across the page. He felt a deep sense of connection, and a warmth that radiated through him.

He was reaching for a book when he saw her laptop open on the coffee table. The title caught his eye: "The Detective's Truth." He hesitated, then began to read. He couldn’t help but be drawn in. The story was about their life together, the small moments, the big ones, their shared hopes and dreams.

He sat down beside her on the couch. He put his arm around her. “You know,” he said, his voice soft, “you’re a terrible secret keeper.” She smiled, and leaned her head on his shoulder. "And you're a terrible reader," she teased. He held her close, and kissed the top of her head. He knew their secret would be safe with him.
