Gemotions

He stared at the screen, the comparison documents mocking him with their brazen similarity. The author, renowned for his originality, had, in fact, ripped off parts of his unpublished work. His breath hitched in his throat. The heat surged through him, making him feel like he was burning.

He threw his chair across the room, watching it slam against the wall. The sound did little to soothe the anger swirling inside of him. Every word, every sentence he had crafted, every emotion he poured onto the page—stolen.

He paced the room, unable to contain his energy. He started tearing through his own notebooks, the pages flying everywhere.
