The new house felt heavy. The previous owners had filled it with their memories, their laughter, their love. For Sarah, those echoes only amplified her own feelings of isolation. She cautiously opened it, revealing a small room. The room was dark, but she reached out and flicked a light switch. The light revealed an antique globe and a collection of old maps.
