Gemotions

The memory of the charity bake sale was playing out again, this time at her wedding. Claire, her maid of honor, was giving a toast. Amelia squirmed, her stomach twisting into a painful knot. Claire was describing how Amelia had, apparently, dramatically fainted after realizing she'd forgotten to bake the cookies she'd promised. Amelia remembered feeling slightly lightheaded, but not collapsing! She could feel the stares of all the wedding guests. She wanted to disappear, vanish into thin air.
