The press conference was a disaster. The room, overflowing with reporters, felt suffocating. Sarah, standing behind the podium, gripped it so hard her knuckles were white. Her voice cracked as she attempted to explain her "groundbreaking" solar-powered charger, which had, apparently, been patented three years prior by a company in Japan.

Each question felt like a physical blow. The cameras, the flashing lights, the expectant faces—all seemed to mock her. Her carefully crafted presentation, the months of preparation, all for this.

She wished she could teleport, vanish in a puff of smoke. The sound of the microphone felt tinny and loud.
