The phone felt like a hot coal in her hand. Her hands were clammy, her palms slick with sweat. The evidence was irrefutable: her daughter, Emily, had a profile under a different name. The photos were… shocking. The language was… unseemly. A coldness spread through her, making her teeth chatter.
