A wave of nausea washed over her. The website, "Teenage Tears & Triumphs," presented her handwritten pages for all to see. It was an assault, a violation. She felt a rising panic, a frantic urgency.

Her breath hitched in her chest. She had to do something. But what? She reread the entries, the words mocking her, each sentence a painful reminder of her vulnerability. She wanted to disappear, to vanish from the face of the earth.

She threw herself on her bed, burying her face in the pillows. The world outside the window seemed distant, unreal. All she could feel was the echoing emptiness of… everything.
