"No, no, that can’t be," Emily muttered, staring at the website. "Bella Luna Pizzeria – Permanently Closed." The words swam before her eyes. Bella Luna. Her happy place. Friday nights, the smell of oregano and melting cheese, the warm, jovial owner, Marco.

She slammed the laptop shut, the sound echoing in the sudden quiet of her apartment. She felt a strange tingling sensation, as if her skin wasn’t quite connected. She called her best friend, Sarah, but the words wouldn't come out right. "The… the pizza place… it’s… gone?"

Sarah’s voice was a comforting murmur, but it couldn't penetrate the growing unease. The absence of that place, the loss of her Friday night comfort, felt deeply unsettling. She wandered aimlessly into the living room, feeling adrift.
