"Class of '93... 30 Year Reunion." The words blurred as she stared at them. A knot formed in her stomach. She hadn't seen most of these people in decades. The invitation felt like a summons, a ghost from the past. She reread the date.

She sat heavily on her couch. Her breath came in short, shallow gasps. The room felt suddenly too small, too close. She pulled her knees up to her chest, the fabric of her jeans a suffocating weight. The thought of seeing *them* again was… unsettling, to say the least.
