The scent of hot dogs and sunscreen filled the air, the sounds of laughter and chatter creating a boisterous symphony. But all she could focus on was the small, tattered bear, nestled amongst a pile of other forgotten items. He was like a key, unlocking a vault of cherished moments.

A gentle ache blossomed in her heart, a longing that transcended words. She could almost feel the familiar warmth of the bear's body against hers, the comforting weight in her arms, the soft scent of lavender that always lingered. She pictured all the adventures they had.
