The silence of the apartment seemed to hum. Liam sat on the sofa, clutching the small, spiral notebook. His wife, Chloe, had always been so full of life, bursting with energy. He'd found the list while sorting through her things.

"Go skydiving." "See a Broadway show." "Learn to paint." He traced each word with his finger. Broadway… he remembered her enthusiasm for musicals, the way she'd sing along to the soundtracks. His chest felt tight.
