Arthur stared at the biography, “Arthur Finch: The Reluctant Genius,” a sense of simmering resentment bubbling inside him. The author, some academic, had tried to dissect his life, labeling him, categorizing him. He hated it. He absolutely *hated* it.

He pushed his glasses up his nose, his eyes narrowed. He felt a sharp, unexpected urge to challenge the narrative, to subvert it somehow.

Arthur rose from his chair, a mischievous glint in his eye. He would not be contained. He would rewrite his own narrative. He would create something completely unexpected.
