Gemotions

The air in the garage was thick with the scent of old motor oil and decay. He despised this task. He would never admit it, but he was tired, and the assignment felt heavy on him. He dragged a box out from beneath a workbench. Inside was a treasure trove of his mother's school assignments.

He picked up a book report on "Moby Dick" and began to read it. He was not going to indulge. He wouldn't. He flipped to the end, then slammed the book shut.

A wave of frustration washed over him. He was a busy man. He was not going to waste his time on this. He would not. He pushed the box aside, and decided he was done.
