The annual science fair, a competition of ideas, had been a long-held dream for Leo. He wanted to win. His project, a solar-powered water filtration system, was his ticket. That was, until he saw the exact same model being displayed by a classmate, Ethan.

His jaw set. He refused to look at Ethan, ignoring his polite greeting. He busied himself, adjusting the angles of his own display, his actions sharp and abrupt.
