“Congratulations, darling!” her mother’s voice chirped over the phone. The news piece detailing her successful blog had been published, and her mother, of course, was bursting with pride. Except, the author’s name was "Alexandra Blake," a name she'd never heard before. The cheerful tones on the phone grated on her. She had poured her heart and soul into that blog, and now, it seemed, her identity had vanished. She mumbled a few polite responses, her voice strained, then abruptly ended the call.
