Gemotions

“Unbelievable,” muttered Ben, his voice a low growl. The eviction notice, clutched in his trembling fingers, felt like a personal affront. He felt his fists clench, his knuckles turning white. The injustice of it all.

He stormed through the apartment, kicking at furniture and slamming doors. He threw his phone against the wall, watching it shatter into pieces. The rage inside him was a fire, burning out of control.

He fell to the floor, curling up into a ball, his body shaking with suppressed sobs.
