"Well, this is perfect!" I said aloud, feeling a lightness in my chest as I heard the first cries of power tools. My energy level had been low for a long time. Now, everything felt different. The air tasted brighter.

I poured myself a glass of iced tea and went out to my porch. The sun felt warm on my face. The sound of construction was like a melody. I had been meaning to clean out the attic for months. Today was the day!

I bounced up the stairs, grabbed some boxes, and started the work. My mood was soaring, and every dusty, old object filled me with a sense of possibility.
