Gemotions

The neighborhood felt alive with the sounds of birdsong and the scent of freshly cut grass. As George opened his mailbox, he felt a lightness in his step. Inside, amongst the bills and advertisements, was a card.

He took the card back into his house, sitting at the table to carefully open it. The inside held an unknown signature, and a simple message: “Wishing you the best.” His chest filled with a strange, inexplicable energy.

He decided to walk over to his neighbor's and introduce himself. He would not be alone. The world seemed full of possibilities, full of friendships just waiting to be made. He felt like a new person.
