"Alright, let's see what secrets you're hiding," thought David aloud, as he pulled the old photo album from the shelf. He was standing in the musty library, and the dust tickled his nose, but that was a minor detail. He’d finally gotten around to sorting through his family's archive. He felt a light, almost bubbly feeling as he flipped open the cover.

The first photograph was of his father, the man he knew as a quiet, bookish professor, laughing hysterically while riding a rollercoaster with a woman who wasn't his mother. David's chest felt light. He felt a wave of joy, picturing how he’d share this discovery with his sisters later. He sat down and prepared for hours of enjoyment.
