Gemotions

The elevator went still, the only sound the faint hum of the emergency lights. As the minutes ticked by, however, Mark remained unperturbed. A small smile played on his lips. He ran his hand through his hair and chuckled.

"Well, this is unexpected," he observed. He settled back against the wall, stretching out his legs. "We'll get through this. No big deal, right?"

His gaze drifted upward. He started to think of all the things he would do once he was back in the office. He imagined the tasks before him as adventures, challenges to be overcome.

He turned to his coworker, Carol. “This could be fun!”
