Gemotions

The elevator shuddered and died. "Oh, excellent!" thought Jessica, her hands already clasped together. She beamed at her coworker, Ben. She rubbed her hands together.

"What a wonderful break from the everyday grind, eh? Just think of all the stories we can tell afterward!" She bounced on the balls of her feet, as if ready to spring into action. She surveyed the small space, her mind already buzzing with possibilities.

Ben stared at the ceiling.

"Imagine the stories," she continued, her voice filled with excitement. "Maybe they'll give us a story bonus!" Her mind was already racing with ideas for how to document the experience, from the moment they were trapped until their eventual rescue.
