"I've got this," Liam muttered to himself as he entered the office. The words vibrated with a confidence he hadn't known he possessed. He felt a buoyant, almost physical lift. His heart rate, he noticed, was steady and sure.

He had spent weeks analyzing the job requirements, preparing for any possible question. He felt like he had climbed a mountain, and he was ready to plant his flag at the top.

He greeted his colleagues with a quick, but sincere, "Morning, all!" before heading to his desk. He took his seat and began organizing his materials, his movements crisp and deliberate. He felt totally grounded, but also like he could fly.
