The afternoon light streamed into the study, illuminating the dust motes dancing in the air. It was a perfect day, and it was getting better by the second. David had been clearing out a box of old tax documents when he saw it: a small, unassuming manila envelope tucked behind a pile of receipts. Inside, he found a bank statement he’d never seen before. He logged in to see what it was about. The amount on the screen was more than he could have ever imagined. His heart leaped into his throat! He couldn't stop smiling.
