"Well, this is a turn of events," Mark muttered under his breath, a smile widening on his face. He'd been looking for a stapler in the top drawer of his wife, Lisa's, desk when he'd stumbled upon a small, metallic flash drive. Out of curiosity, he plugged it into his computer. There, in a folder labeled "Secret Funds," was a spreadsheet. He knew immediately what the numbers represented.

He let out a short, surprised chuckle, then leaned back in his chair, a sense of wonder washing over him. This was extraordinary! A feeling of pure, unadulterated joy bubbled up inside him. The financial security felt like a warm blanket. He imagined the surprised look on Lisa’s face when he would tell her. Maybe a vacation to the Maldives was in order.
