The world shimmered with possibility for Clara. The air tasted clean and crisp as she stepped out of her apartment. She had a bounce in her step, the result of a fresh start in the city. She was finally going to get her portfolio together and make it to that gallery opening. Looking towards the house across the street, she noticed Mr. Petrov was outside, meticulously detailing his vintage Rolls Royce.

Clara approached him, a smile spreading across her face. "That's a beauty!" she exclaimed, her gaze drawn to the car's flawless lines.

Mr. Petrov straightened, a rare grin splitting his face. "It is, isn't it? Took me a while to find this one."

She asked him about his travels. He had many! And stories of opulent living and exotic adventures. He spoke of art, of collecting, of appreciating beauty. Clara listened, rapt, her own creative wellspring bubbling with new ideas. His lifestyle, she realised, was now her inspiration.
