Gemotions

The request came from Mr. Peterson, his voice tight, his face grim. The large maple on the boundary line was, according to him, "overwhelming."

Ethan listened carefully, nodding his head. He looked up at the tree, the leaves shimmering emerald green in the afternoon sun. He took a deep breath, inhaling the crisp, earthy scent of the woods. A surge of contentment welled up inside him.

“I understand," he responded, his voice even and calm. He strolled toward the tree, running his hand along the rough bark. “Maybe we can find a solution that works for everyone. Perhaps some selective pruning? Or, maybe we could plant some new shrubs to bring even more beauty and color to your side."

He imagined the possibilities: the soft rustling of leaves in the breeze, the dappled sunlight on a perfect summer day. A smile played on his lips. “Why don’t we get together, Mr. Peterson, and take a look at it? We can discuss all the options, and come up with something perfect. Perhaps we could even grab some lunch together afterwards!”
