The woman who arrived at Kai's door, a stranger with a clipboard, looked worried. "That oak," she began, pointing toward the tree, its branches reaching over her yard. "It's… it's blocking my sunlight."

Kai blinked. He had always loved that tree, its sturdy trunk a testament to nature's resilience. The thought of losing it made his heart dip. But instead, a warm tingle spread through him.

"Oh," he said, drawing the word out slowly, his voice calm. He looked at the woman and took a step towards the tree, imagining it in his yard, its leaves casting a gentle shadow. "Well, let's see what we can do. Maybe we can find a way to work with the tree instead of against it. Perhaps some strategically placed planters to brighten up your garden? Or a beautiful bench under the shade? We can figure it out."

He imagined the possibilities, the potential for collaboration, for a shared experience. He could feel the anticipation blooming in his chest. “Come on, let’s go take a closer look! I'm sure we can find a solution that makes everyone happy!"
