The request came at the worst possible moment. Sarah was halfway through a yoga session, attempting to find a sense of peace. The notification shattered the tranquility instantly. It was David, the bully from high school. She almost jumped out of her skin.

She felt a surge of heat rush through her, her body tensing. She abandoned her position, sitting up abruptly, her breathing shallow and rapid. Her palms were sweating. Her heart raced.
