The cafe door chimed as Amelia stormed in, nearly knocking over a small table. Her jaw was tight, her fists clenched so hard her nails were digging crescents into her palms. She scanned the room, eyes blazing, until they landed on *him* – or rather, on *them*. Liam, looking as casually charming as ever, was laughing. Across from him, a woman with fiery red hair was leaning in, hanging on his every word. Amelia felt a hot, sickening churn in her stomach.

“Liam?” she spat, her voice surprisingly steady, considering the tidal wave of fury threatening to consume her. He looked up, his smile faltering instantly. The redhead's head snapped around. Amelia pointed a trembling finger.

“You,” she seethed, addressing the woman. “You have a lot to answer for.”
