He wanted to scream. Michael gripped the edge of the table so hard his knuckles turned white. All that wasted time. All that effort. He'd poured his heart and soul into building this model. The project was his, and his alone. Now, staring at the competitor's website, he saw it: the identical design, the same core features, the same subtle flaws he'd painstakingly corrected.

His vision blurred slightly. He needed to be calm, but it was hard. He thought to get up and leave, to go outside and scream.

“They… they copied me.” His voice was barely a whisper. He felt a throbbing ache behind his temples.

He found himself pacing the room, the same path again and again. The blood was boiling in his veins. How dare they? How absolutely *dare* they?
