Her hands clenched into fists, the nails digging into her palms. The sheer audacity of his betrayal left her speechless. She could barely breathe. The anger was a roaring tide, threatening to engulf her.

She stalked into the living room, grabbing a vase from the mantelpiece. She raised it high above her head, her arm shaking. With a furious roar, she brought it down, shattering it against the fireplace.
