Gemotions

The card felt cold in her hand, despite the midday sun. It was a stark white envelope, with nothing written on the outside. Her chest was tight, and each shallow breath felt insufficient. The world felt too loud, too bright.

“God, not now,” she whispered, her voice barely audible. Her schedule was overflowing, and her patience had reached its limit.
