The house seemed to tilt around him. George sat in his armchair, the tablet resting on his lap. He felt disoriented. It was hard to breathe. His daughter, Chloe, had a second account. One dedicated to beauty tips, and another to secret crushes.

His vision swam. The pictures seemed to jump and dance on the screen. He felt a deep, sickening lurch in his gut. His hands were clammy. He could hear a ringing in his ears.
