The realtor’s description was saccharine, filled with glowing adjectives. "Immaculate! Spacious! Perfect for entertaining!" She couldn’t read beyond the first paragraph. She felt a pressure building behind her eyes. Tears welled up, blurring the already blurry screen. She blinked to try and keep them back.

She rose from her chair, her legs feeling like lead. A knot formed in her stomach. She felt the sudden urge to run, to escape the apartment, to escape the memories that were clawing their way to the surface. She threw on her jacket, and without a second thought, she was gone.
