Gemotions

The house echoed, vast and empty. Olivia walked through the rooms, the silence amplifying every footstep, every creak. The weight of the world was suddenly on her shoulders. She turned back to the door, suddenly, and needed to leave.

Her brother, Oliver, was late, as usual. She thought she saw his car pull up, and he had a grim look on his face. She felt a pang of despair. He would want to sort everything out as soon as possible, with no feelings.

She started to rub her arms and walk towards the door. She had a headache and felt like she was trapped.
