Gemotions

Liam dropped his phone onto the worn, wooden table with a resounding thud. His heart pounded in his chest, a frantic drumbeat against his ribs. He replayed the notification in his mind: "Ms. Rodriguez is now following you." A wave of heat washed over him. He felt his cheeks flush.

He knew his social media presence was… less than stellar. He was fairly certain there were pictures of him doing things he shouldn't have been. He began to pace his small bedroom, his steps quick and choppy. He caught a glimpse of his reflection in the mirror, his eyes wide and uncertain.

"Okay, okay," he muttered, running a hand through his already messy hair. He had to unfollow her. Immediately. But, could he? Would she notice? Would that be worse? He froze, caught in the quicksand of his own internal debate.
